Harris Lake Hideaway and its peaceful pines are located just a short drive from the city of Toronto, and minutes to the closest towns, Parry Sound and McKellar, Ontario, Canada ***see map below for directions. You are also within 40 minutes of Huntsville, 2 hours from Sudbury, 1.5 hours from North Bay, and about an hour from Bracebridge. The closest towns would be McKellar and Waubamik. With a hundred feet of shoreline, this picturesque lakeside property is a haven to families and friends from all over. The acre of land filled with mature pines and gentle breezes boasts:

Built in 1991, HLH has had many upgrades and can accomodate up to 12 guests: 8 adults and 4 children in its modern surroundings. Sometimes we can squeeze in an extra air mattress or maybe a tent and get another few people in. It's not really intended for large groups, but if you have a large family, we can make it work.
A fully-stocked and bright kitchen has an open concept appeal, with coffee maker, kettle, bodum, microwave, blender, fridge, stove and double sink. Yes there are dishes, pots and pans, serving utensils and trays, dish towels and wash cloths. Our guests also have:

*Full 4 piece bathroom (toilet, vanity sink, bath tub, and shower)
*3 bedrooms: king, toddler bed, 3 double beds (2 in living room)4 singles, plus a cot
*Laundry facilities on site
*4 televisions and 4 DVD players, Xbox, board games
*Ample patio furnishings and a propane BBQ.
You and your family and friends will fall in love with this quaint little Cape Cod Style bungalow with the wrap around porch and serene surroundings. Just a two hour drive from the city of Toronto, Ontario will bring you into the Parry Sound area, still in the heart of the Muskokas and just ten minutes from town. The third exit from Parry Sound is what to look for, Hwy 124 make a right, and then ten minutes from the 400, look for the Red Door Bakery on your righhand side, and from there it is the third road on your left. Harris Lake is known for its great fishing and snowmobiling adventures, including some of the most picturesque canoe sites you will never forget.
